Aimerie is the creative alias of bass music DJ, producer, and educator, Kaite Watson. Given her lifelong fascination with the deep sea underworld, Aimerie’s touch for crafting dark, lurking soundscapes makes sense. Her otherworldly interpretation of sound system music is inspired by seminal artists like Biome and Portishead, as well as by friends and co-creators in the bass music community.
Aimerie is an Ableton Certified Trainer located in Denver, CO where she teaches music production using Ableton Live as well as DJing at The Black Box Studio. Known to deliver cutting-edge curation on the decks, Aimerie’s passion for pushing grassroots sounds has landed her on prolific lineups at events like Sub.mission’s Bass Invasion in Denver, Infrasound Music Festival, and Outlook Festival, alongside artists including The Widdler, Truth, DJ Youngsta, Khiva, and many more.
