Vanity Roxane (36) is a DJ, Speaker, advisor, and coach within the electronic music scene.

As a DJ she has a track record with almost 20 years of experience. Vanity Roxane has her roots in the hip-hop scene and translates this soulful sound into genre-transcending blends within the dubstep and Drum&Bass scene. Heavily influenced by the sound of J Dilla she’s known for playing soulful & deep bass sets.

Vanity has been on line-ups with Dons like Mala, Sherelle, Lenzman, Redeyes, FD, Submorphics, Satl. She played festivals like Solar, Down The Rabbit Hole, and venues like Doornroosje and Melkweg. Vanity Roxane is also a resident DJ at London’s Sub.FM, guest curator at Open Source Radio, programmer bass at Green Vibrations Festival, and artist and founder of the women’s community The FemDem.

She also works as a public speaker. The intersections of her work are feminism, hip-hop, and electronic music. She celebrates the stories of creatives by putting them on stage via panels, talks, and interviews. With a hip-hop state of mind, she walks life as one true multidisciplinary.
