With a voice described as ‘heavenly’ and ‘enthralling’ by DJ Mag, self-confessed studio gremlin, Emily Makis, loves all things electronic. From delicate liquid DnB from the likes of Dexcell and Monrroe, to writing in a range of genres with producers around globe, Emily specialises in exploring the complexities of the mind and relationships in her lyrical content, while never settling for ‘just another love song’. A chameleon at heart, she’s always up for the challenge of a unique project, strange ideas, or differentiating from the norm. 

She’s racked up tracks as featured artist on labels including Ultra and Spearhead Records, with her most recent release with Monrroe, ‘Never Too Old’, amassing support from BBC Radio 1’s Rene La Vice, Liquicity and featuring in the iconic ’15 Years of Shogun Audio’ album alongside Friction and Technimatic.

Aside from features, Emily is an avid producer, currently supported by MOBO and Help Musicians in the establishment of a new creative project featuring her own electronic, soul and hip-hop influenced productions.
